WHAT IS
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY?

Occupational Therapy services assist individuals in overcoming challenges related to daily living and participation in various activities. Therapy focuses on enhancing skills and abilities to improve involvement in everyday tasks, such as self-care, work, and recreational activities.

Occupational therapists support children to do the activities/tasks they need or want to do and to facilitate children’s engagement in their life roles and situations within their everyday lives and natural environments. The occupations of children are central to paediatric occupational therapy and encompass play, self-care, education, leisure, sleep, and social participation.

Our Occupational Therapists are members of AHPRA.
