Senior Occupational Therapist

Jess graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and has since provided therapy in  private practice and school settings.

Jess has extensive experience supporting children with fine motor, coordination, sensory processing, and emotional regulation challenges, using practical, individualised goals and strategies that promote participation in everyday life.

Jess is passionate about making therapy sessions creative and engaging for her clients. She provides tailored strategies that support each child’s unique strengths and challenges.

Jess understands the importance of family-centred care and the need to tailor parent support and education to meet each family’s capacity, needs and preferences.

Prior to joining Speak and Succeed, Jess developed and delivered a primary school-wide emotional regulation program. This included pre- and post-screening of children, leading classroom lessons, development of specific resources, as well as providing teachers and learning support staff with professional development training to allow them to embed therapeutic strategies into their school’s everyday routines.
